The Oregon Jewish Community Foundation offers several programs for receiving grants: The OJCF Community Endowment Fund OJCF's Community Endowment Fund (formerly the OJCF Unrestricted Fund) gives priority to projects addressing needs in the areas of Jewish art and culture, community development, education, health, social welfare, and other special events. The annual deadline for applications is August 31st. The Friendly/Rosenthal Fund OJCF’s Friendly/Rosenthal Committee awards grants to projects or programs that provide assistance and support for seniors and the infirm in our community. The annual deadline for applications is November 30th. The annual deadline for applications is November 30th. Oregon-Israel Fund Guidelines Downloadable Word Oregon-Israel Application | Print Adobe Acrobat Oregon-Israel Application The OJCF Book of Community Needs The Book of Community Needs is a way for organizations in Oregon and Washington State to share their specific needs with our Donor Advisors. Listings will be placed on the OJCF website where they can be viewed by OJCF Donor Advisors at their leisure. OJCF makes no claim that any listing will definitively result in a grant. Therefore, applicants should not take the Book of Needs into consideration for budgeting purposes. Published twice a year on our website, the deadlines for submissions are July 1, and January 2. Listings will be kept on the site for one year or until they expire. Organizations must be considered by the IRS to be 501(c)(3) nonprofit to submit a listing.
