Community Endowment Fund Guidelines
OJCF's Community Endowment Fund Committee gives priority to projects in Oregon and SW Washington addressing needs in the areas of
Jewish art and culture, community development, education, health, social welfare and/or any other
special events that:
- Represent an innovative, start-up effort
- Are capital in nature, i.e. construction, renovation, equipment
- Promote collaboration among qualified organizations without duplicating services
- Serve a broad segment of the community
- Are located in Oregon or the SW Washington area
Qualified applicants are prioritized as follows:
- Member organizations of OJCF
- Other Oregon and SW Washington 501 (C)(3) Jewish organizations
- Projects of US 501(c)(3) organizations that promote Jewish art, culture, education, health,
social welfare or community development within the State of Oregon and SW Washington.
The Foundation generally does not support fundraisers, endowment development or debt reduction, individual
scholarships, private foundations, political projects, or other "cause-related" programs. Unrestricted Fund
applications must be postmarked by August 31st. Please submit the application and supplemental items to:

A maximum of two applications per organization will be considered, however, applicants are strongly encouraged to limit their request to one application per organization. Applications postmarked after the deadline, incomplete applications or applications that do not include
supplemental items will not be considered.
